libplot2c2 software package provides GNU plotutils libraries, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libplot2c2
libplot2c2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libplot2c2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libplot2c2 *
You will get with libplot2c2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
